American Academy of Neurology
Busy neurologists can learn on the go courtesy of an app that gamifies continuing education
Neurology students and physicians are required to continue their education throughout their careers, so the American Academy of Neurology turned to Modern Tribe for an on-the-go solution. The aim was to make it fun and dynamic while meeting the rigorous criteria necessary to be considered a credit toward continuing education.
The resulting Question of The Day app allows medical professionals to habitually answer daily questions and track their performance over time (with relevant feedback for correct and incorrect answers), making it easier to take a few minutes to keep learning, from anywhere. Results are gamified, with a leaderboard showcasing the top performers, and an archive of all the questions is accessible any time for those keen to dive deeper and explore specific subspecialties. We leveraged React Native to develop a single code base and deploy native apps for iOS and Android.
